Medicine Ball Power Circuits utilize Medicine Ball Speed training that we Typically use in conditioning fighters, tactical or combat personnel, firefighters, law enforcement, etc.
These circuits can be done with a variety of exercises and time periods but best to keep each exercise between 20 & 30 seconds. We may repeat a number of exercises to replicate the time period of a round in a fight with a 1 minute rest to replicate the time between rounds.
Shorter rounds maybe used when starting or for when longer duration conditioning is desired. Rest periods can also be adjusted accordingly. For example a circuit could be performed 30 seconds on, 20 seconds off and repeated for 15-20 rounds.
The possibilities are endless and can be specific to the individual and type of conditioning needed. These circuits could also be performed loaded with specific load out that the individual maybe be required to perform in such as with tactical or combat personnel and firefighters.
The medicine ball Power Circuit is the same circuit we used with David Tua for his 12 round fight for the heavyweight boxing title against Lennox Lewis.
